The congregation worshipping at House of Grace International

Our house

As He Is, So Are We

That is not a slogan. It is the sentence the whole house is built on. What is true of Christ is true of us, and learning to live from that changes everything.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
1 John 4:17

House of Grace International is a church in New Germany, just outside Pinetown in Durban. We gather on Sundays in the New Germany Primary School Auditorium, and every weekday morning online for prayer before the day begins.

The church was founded under the ministry of Rabbi Siza, whose teaching has shaped how this house reads scripture: not as a list of things to achieve, but as a description of what God has already done, and who that makes us.

“To eliminate poverty through the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

The HOGI vision

What we are after

Many believers are carrying riches they have never opened. The work of this house is to put those treasures in people's hands, so that faith stops being something you hope for and starts being something you live from.

That happens in the main gathering, but just as much in home cells, in intercession, in kids church and in the ordinary conversations between people who have decided to walk together.

What we hold to

Four things that shape us

Identity first

Everything starts with knowing who you are in Christ. Behaviour follows identity, never the other way round.

The whole family

Children, teenagers, singles, married, new to faith or decades in. There is a place at the table for each one.

Grace on display

We are here to demonstrate God's grace in His kindness, in how we speak, serve and carry one another.

Sent, not settled

Home cells across Durban and beyond, so that the life of this house is lived out in ordinary places.

Come and be part of it

Visit on a Sunday, join morning prayer, or put your name on the member register and let us walk with you properly.
